Tanner Oetjen is currently a transportation engineer with HNTB in Houston, Texas. He has worked on major schematic, PS&E, and program management projects for multiple clients, including TxDOT, Harris County Toll Road Authority, and City of Houston. Tanner earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in May 2016 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Tanner has been involved with YPT Houston since March 2018 and will serve on the board for the first time during the 2020 term. As the Director of Membership, he plans to support the current membership base while recruiting new members and encouraging young professionals from new companies to become involved.
