Student Paper Competition – Deadline: March 7, 2014

The Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Rural Public and Intercity Bus Transportation Committee is sponsoring a student paper competition to encourage students in transportation and related fields to submit papers that focus on the theme of “setting our course for the future.” The 2014 Conference will be held in Monterrey, CA on October 26-29, 2014.

There are two competitions: the graduate student competition which requires submission of a research paper and the undergraduate competition which requires an essay addressing a specific challenge statement related to the conference’s theme.  Two winning papers in each category will receive awards, a cash prize and travel expenses to the 2014 conference in Monterey, CA.  Cash prizes for the graduate paper competition are $1,000 and $500 for first and second place, respectively; $500 and $250 for the undergraduate essay competition.
